Jungle Safari Bharat Permit Tips Banner

Essential Booking Guidelines

Securing a safari permit can be highly competitive. Follow these 8 expert tips to ensure your jungle adventure goes smoothly without any last-minute hassles.

1
Book in Advance

National Parks are popular, especially from October to June. Safari slots are highly limited and fill up fast. Book at least 90 to 120 days in advance to secure your preferred core zones.

2
Book Online

The easiest way is to book online through junglesafaribharat.com. Simply provide your details, choose your zone/date, and let our experts handle the rest.

3
Carry Correct ID

You must carry the exact same original ID (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.) used during booking. Even a small spelling mismatch can lead to entry denial at the forest gate.

4
Choose Right Zone

Read about Core vs. Buffer zones before booking. Once a permit is issued, you cannot change the zone under any circumstances.

Tip: If your first-choice zone is full, consider nearby buffer zones instead of skipping the safari entirely.
5
Age & Number Limits

Max 6 people per gypsy. Children >5 years count as full passengers. Large groups must book multiple vehicles.

Example: For 10 people, you must book 1 gypsy for 6 pax, and another gypsy for 4 pax separately.
6
Be On Time

Report to the entry gate at least 30 minutes before safari start time. Mandatory ID verification takes time. Late arrivals may be denied entry with no refund.

7
No Refunds

Forest department permits are non-refundable and non-transferable. You cannot change dates, names, or give your permit to someone else. Be 100% sure of your travel plans.

8
Prefer Weekdays

Weekdays (Mon-Fri) have lower crowds and better permit availability compared to weekends. Fewer vehicles inside the park often mean better, peaceful sightings.
