Ranthambore National Park, located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, is one of the biggest and most renowned national parks in Northern India. Being considered as one of the best places to view the powerful majesty of the animals, the park is a major wildlife tourist attraction spot that has pulled the attention of many wildlife photographers and lovers.
The park is famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger, which can often be seen basking in the sun or hunting in the day around the lakes. The landscape is dominated by the massive Ranthambore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which sits atop a hill overlooking the jungle.
Ranthambore is divided into 10 safari zones. Zones 1 to 5 are considered Core zones and are highly sought after for tiger sightings, while Zones 6 to 10 offer beautiful landscapes and are also home to tigers and leopards. The park is also famous for the Trinetra Ganesh Temple located inside the fort.

Ranthambore operates two safari slots daily. Timings change slightly every month to align with sunrise and sunset.
October to June is the official season. April to June is best for tiger sightings (waterholes). October to March is best for comfortable weather.
Note: Zones 1-5 are closed during Monsoon (July-Sept). Zones 6-10 remain open.
