Kaziranga: The Land of the Giants
Located in the edge of the Eastern Himalayan biodiversity hotspots, Kaziranga National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site in Assam. It hosts two-thirds of the world's Great One-horned Rhinoceroses and holds the distinction of having the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world (declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006).
The park is crisscrossed by four main rivers, including the Brahmaputra, creating a unique landscape of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests. Our Kaziranga safari packages offer a window into this prehistoric-looking world.
